DIY your own wood fired hot tub with our coil kit Model C3

Simply attach the hose kit to the ends of the heater coil, fasten the 3 ground support legs to the bottom of the coil, and place the hot ash collector pan underneath the heater coil. That’s all, installation of coil kit is complete.

Then connect your tub to the assembled C3 kit using these simple steps:

Drill two φ25mm holes in your tub or barrel wall (spacing to match the coil connections).
Attach the tub fittings to the holes.
Insert the tub fitting into the hose, then secure tightly with clamps.

Pro Tip: the upper hole on tub side must be under of water surface

FAQ

Can I prolong hose?

The standard hose length is 50 cm. Combined with the 15 cm coil end, 10 cm extended tube, and tub fitting, the total distance between your tub and fire is about 80 cm, which is sufficient for most users. If you would like a longer hose, please contact us before ordering with your desired length, and we will provide a custom price quote.

Can the hose stand hot water temperature?

The hose is made of fire-resistant silicone that can withstand temperatures from -200°C to 400°C. The system can safely handle very hot water without melting.

Should I drain the water from the coil during extremely cold, freezing weather?

In extremely cold, freezing weather, you can drain water from the coil to protect the system and speed up heating for your next use. If you forget to drain it, there’s no need to worry. Our coil is made with thick stainless steel tubing that will not crack or burst from ice expansion. To drain the water, simply loosen the clamps and disconnect the hoses from the coil ends.

Can I change position of stop valve?

Yes. But you need to make a note in your order. When we see your requirement of changing position of stop valve, then we will put in whole hose (not cut off), you can cut it according to your demand in hand and then connect the stop valve. In fact, many users are used to install valve nearer to tub, so that they can be easy to control valve by hand.

Is this coil compatible with all hot tubs and stock tanks?

Yes, it fits most stock tanks, plastic tubs, wooden hot tubs, and barrel tubs. You only need to drill two 25mm holes for the fittings. Our tub fittings can accommodate wall thicknesses from 1mm to 50mm. If you have more thickness (more than 50mm), please make a note in order, then we will put in a longer fitting.

Can I leave the heater outside all year?
