Assembling Guide for Singema Model D3 Wood-Fired Hot Tub Coil
Step 1: Put Together the Model D3 Coil Unit
- Connect the hose kit to both inlet and outlet ports of the heating coil.
- Mount the 3 ground support legs firmly onto the base of the coil assembly.
- Slide the ash collection pan directly underneath the heating coil to catch burning debris.Reference the finished assembly diagram below for proper layout.
Step 2: Link the Assembled D3 Unit to Your Hot Tub / Wooden Barrel
- Drill two 25mm-diameter holes through the wall of your hot tub or barrel; align the horizontal gap between holes to match the distance between the coil’s hose connections.
- Secure tub fittings tightly into the two drilled openings.
- Attach the free ends of the hose kit to the tub fittings and fasten all hose clamps completely to prevent water leakage.
Critical Installation Pro Tip
The higher drilled hole on your tub wall must sit fully below the tub’s standing water line during operation.
FAQ
Is it possible that I want use my own hose to replace your hose?
Yes. In fact, many clients requires longer hose. You can use your own hose to replace the original hose in package. Your hose must be 25mm as internal diameter, and it need to stand high temperature, has good insulation performance. We suggest your hose not to exceed 2 meters in order to keep system good performance.
My tub`s wall thickness is more than 50mm, how should I do?
In defaulted kit, the tub fitting clamp tub wall thickness from 1mm to 50mm, if your wall thickness is more than 50mm, note its actual thickness when ordering, we`ll put in a longer fitting to work for your tub.
Can I add wood pieces into coil stove when doing BBQ food?
Yes. In the package, there is a clip which is used to rotate BBQ grill aside. Move grill aside and put in wood pieces into stove, and then recovery the grill to continue BBQ.
Can I leave the heater outside all year?
Yes, the stainless steel and accessories are weather‑resistant. However, storing it in a dry place when not in use for long periods will extend its life.
Do I need to drain the coil in freezing weather?
In very cold conditions, draining water from the coil helps protect the system and speed up heating for your next use. Even if you don’t drain it, the heavy‑duty thick stainless steel will not crack or burst from ice expansion. To drain, just move the handle of stop valve.
